A government-recognised dual training program — 30% classroom theory, 70% hands-on practical at McDonald's restaurants. Complete 11 Competency Units to earn your SKM certification.

Apprentice Eligibility
Open to young Malaysians who are ready to work, learn, and build a career in the food service industry.
Basic Requirements
Age 17–28 years old — open to both male and female applicants
PT3 / PMR / SPM or equivalent academic qualification
Malaysian citizen with valid MyKad
Able to read, write, calculate and comprehend (4M literacy)
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia with basic English
Physically fit — must pass health screening (no chronic illness)
Genuine interest in the Food Service industry

This program is especially suited for school leavers after SPM/PT3 who want to gain a professional skills certificate, earn an income, and build a real career pathway — all at the same time. No prior food service experience is needed.

Join a SLDN taklimat (briefing) session held at schools, district education offices, or community centres near you.

Screening Interview
Undergo a competency-based screening to assess work suitability, teamwork attitude, and motivation.

Receive Offer Letter
Selected candidates receive an official offer letter with training location and start date.

Prepare Documents
Get your Typhoid vaccination and prepare all required documents before registration day.

Registration & Orientation
Report on registration day in proper attire, complete onboarding, receive your starter kit, and begin training!
